Nursery’s Vision Morning

Nursery had an amazing time during their ‘Vision Morning’ last week. The children had three different activities to take part in; planting and gardening, designing and decorating a biscuit and contributing to a big piece of artwork.

In our nursery playground we had a lot of tidying up to do before we started planting. The children helped sweep and collect dead leaves from the floor. We then used trowels to put soil in pots ready to plant the seeds. We have planted beetroot, peas, lettuce and tomatoes. I will let you know how they are getting on in a few weeks!

Whilst inside, children were given the opportunity to design a topping for their biscuit. They then used coloured icing and sprinkles to decorate. The children came up with brilliant designs and I know they all enjoyed eating their biscuit during group time.

Finally children created a large piece of artwork by splashing paint on a piece of fabric. They enjoyed being able to use the paint freely. I can’t wait to see the finished piece!
