Busy week in Year 6
It has been a very, very busy week in Year 6. The children have completed five assessments and it has been lovely to see how much progress most of the children have made. Those children who are completing additional work at home, for example completing CGP books and using Sumdog, have found the tests less daunting so please encourage your child to complete additional work - it really does make a difference!
The physical and artistic sides of the children were also brought out this week: 6S and 6N completed circuit training (there were a lot of red faces and aching legs by the end) and all year 6 children continued their Romero Britto inspired portraits in Art. There are some fabulous pieces of work and we look forward to seeing the completed pieces of work in a few weeks time!
